While in Darwin this week, Their Excellencies, General the Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Retd) and Mrs Linda Hurley, as guests of Ms Nichole Vincent, Chief Commissioner, visited Scouts Australia’s Northern Territory Branch in Howard Springs, Northern Territory. 

It’s been a significant week for our newly minted Governor-General, David Hurley. 

Australia’s new Governor-General, His Excellency David Hurley has been sworn in and outlined his priorities.

In an address at his swearing in ceremony, the new GG opened by acknowledging indigenous Australians, acknowledging them in the Ngunnawal language.
